First Year Program

Texas Bible Institute’s nine-month first year program is designed to “bridge” the student from their years of secondary education to life and success after high school. It has been designed to accommodate all young people; those pursuing education at the university level, trade school or ministry in the local church. The first year program at TBI will prepare a student for future success in many facets of life including family relationships, financial management and marriage.

The first year program will provide the opportunity to devote a life completely to God. To become stable and grounded and to learn the specific plan and destiny that God has planned for ones life.

Texas Bible Institute is located on the grounds of Country Camp in Columbus, Texas, just west of the Houston metropolitan area. The campus is part of the 553 acre camp used to accommodate thousands each summer and weekend guests through out the school year. This facility provides a unique opportunity for Texas Bible Institute students to participate in these events. Many first year graduates continue their ministry training in the second year program of Texas Bible Institute.
