From the President
Mrs. Rachel Burchfield, President of Texas Bible Institute, is a gifted teacher of the Word of God who has also traveled extensively around the world. She is also an author who has completed the entire Foundations For Life Curriculum, which is used exclusively by Texas Bible Institute faculty and staff.
She has defined three major life decisions which every young person will make before they are 25 years of age.
- Whom will you serve?
- What will be your occupation?
- What kind of spouse will you choose?
The consequences of these three choices will affect the rest of your life. At this point in a young persons’ life there is a developing reality of these decisions along with a variety of questions, obstacles and opportunities that may arise. At Texas Bible Institute, a student is taught how to cooperate with God’s plan for their life. They are encouraged to put God first in the decision making process. Time at Texas Bible Institute will permit a strong foundation to develop and competent decisions will result. We often say: “Don’t spend your life, looking for life, come to Texas Bible Institute!”
