Campus Program

Yes! That’s the real price. Tuition, room, food, and all textbooks are included in this price. We’ve lowered our already low rates in honor of our 30th Year of TBI. We’re celebrating you and our school with this special discount for 2020-2021, but our normal low prices are still to be expected, even following the special promotion.

Although our prices are quite affordable, we understand that families and people have much going on at any given time. We have payment plans available for all programs and are believing with you for finances if TBI is something that’s on your heart.

Texas Bible Institute does not hold accreditation with the State of Texas, but we do have the unfailing Word of God to back us. We have found that there are rare times where certain schools will receive TBI Transcripts and give partial credit for their programs.

Our Discipleship Program graduates receive a Certificate of Christian Studies, our Joshua Coalition graduates receive a Certificate of Ministry, while our Leadership School graduates receive a Certificate of Christian Leadership.

Yes.

There are washeterias located on campus and are free-of-charge. Students will be responsible for providing their own detergent or other supplies.

This number can usually fluctuate between 3 and 5 people per room, but is adjusted as needed by our TBI staff depending on the season and executive orders provided by local and state leaders.

There are dress codes specific to each category of activity that we’ll be enjoying. You’ll receive more information in your acceptance materials, but here are the big ones to remember:

  • Jeans with no rips or holes

  • Facial piercings are not to be worn during official activities. They are free to be worn during free times.

  • T-shirts are a good thing to wear during free times, but collared shirts for men or blouses for women are a part of the dress code for official activities.

Yes, of course. As a part of your journey at TBI, you may not be promised to always receive your first pick, but roommate requests can be made through email following your acceptance. We do our best to accommodate.

Yes, there is. Nightly curfews are in place for campus safety and to instill personal responsibility, time management and rest in our students. Students will have posted times to be on campus and in their respective dorms.

Yes, students may have visitors on campus during open campus hours. All visitors are required to check-in for safety protocols and must be off-campus by nightly curfew times. Family and friends are encouraged to join us at our Country Camp retreats to see all that God’s been doing in you.

Yes. Many of our students choose to seek employment in Columbus, TX. There are many places available and our students have become great models of hard work and honor Jesus with the way they carry themselves. If you are looking to apply for jobs before arriving, please contact us for a list of businesses if you’d like.

Our campus is a tobacco-free, alcohol-free, vape-free, and weapon-free environment. These, along with any illegal substances, are strictly prohibited

 Great question! You’ll need

  • A Bible
  • Mini Fridges are acceptable, though you may decide amongst your roommates that only 1 or 2 are needed.
  • Microwaves are permitted, but bear in mind space in the rooms.
  • Air/span>
  • Students will be responsible to provide any personal toiletries, though toilet paper and paper towels will be provided by the school.
  • Laundry facilities will be provided. Students should plan to supply their own detergents and come ready with a plan to transport laundry items.

There are plenty of open times throughout the semester, including every Monday as an off-day, when students are free to make plans. There are also specific times in each program when extra space is made, whether the Thanksgiving holiday or simply an open weekend. We also encourage students, however, to see TBI as their home away from home and really be focused while they’re a part of the program.

Online Program

You’re all set. Classes will be streamed live and will then be available on-demand for replay through your student portal.

Our online programs are available to students age 17 and up. If you are looking to build strong foundations in your life, at any stage, we are ready to help. Our campus programs will still see age restrictions due to the nature of campus lodging and community.

Our Ministry-of-Helps and MAPS training programs are only available through our campus programs due to the need for time to learn skills. It might be a good reason to consider joining us on campus if that is a desire of yours. Online students should use the flexibility of the program opportunity to get involved in their local church and work hard.

Our online students have the option to join us on campus, if plausible for them, but will need to register for Commencement, pay the graduation fee for cap and gown, and work out details with our TBI team by October 1st of the given year. If this is not a desire, online students will receive their certificate by other means upon completion of the program.

Although our prices are quite affordable, we understand that families and people have much going on at any given time. We have payment plans available for all programs and are believing with you for finances if TBI is something that’s on your heart.

It really is that inexpensive! We’ve always focused on having the lowest rates for schools of our kind, and that continues online. $495 is the 30th year celebration price, and an introductory online rate in honor of our first class, but even following the 2020-2021 season, our customary low prices should be expected.

Yes!

We know that these programs will be a journey and are a great leap of faith. We are here for you. Students will be able to set appointments with Deans through the online portal.

Our Academic Team will do their best to help you through any of the coursework through emails, but special appointments can be made through the online portal if needed. Bear in mind that weekly Q&A’s with the faculty will also be available.

Being a part of ministering at Country Camp events is a great privilege and a large part of our Campus Programs, but is not available to online students. Online students should still feel free to join us as guests, but should focus ministry times to their local church body.
